ABOUT ME

i like to be with my friends and family and i also like to be alone. i love to read but it's hard for me to sit still for a long time. i need movement. i also hate thinking about how to describe myself, i'm not a very introspective person i guess.

PHILOSOPHY

try as hard as possible to not have a negative impact on our world. the fact is that resources are depleting, quickly. it is up to us, the individual to break the habits we never think about, think critically about the environmental impact our actions have on the world around us. we cant just mess this place up and leave for the next generation to clean up because there will either be no more earth to clean up or there will not be any of us left to mess it up anymore. the earth is fighting back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i met another couchsurfer! i am staying with a friend in fort collins, CO and he introduces me to one his friends ian. i found out that he was a climber so we talked and then the next day he took me up to this spot called horse tooth and we climbed together. we were talking about travels that we have had and obviously the subject of couchsurfing came up. does the experience still count if i didn't meet this guy online?

Interessen

i try to stay active i guess, i climb and ride bikes the most. behind that i do surf a little bit but it turns out the waves aren't as good in MN as they are in california, so for now i'm cutting back on that.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

this past week i have been skiing in winter park with some friends and it has been absolutely amazing. i feel so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life, i have made some new friends here in colorado that i will cherish for the rest of my life. we have gotten at least 30 inches of fresh snow since i've been here. new, untouched lines everywhere!! my friend rob who has been living up here all season even showed me some sick backcountry business, this has been the best skiing i have ever done, ever.
