So there's two of us, two 25 year olds who have been friends for many many years. Always talking about going travelling together, now it's finally become a reality and we're just over two months into what's turning out to be an amazing trip.

Highlights of the trip so far! .....
- seeing the beauty of the Philippine rainforest for the first time on route to Coron, so stunning it took our breath away
- snorkelling in Twin Lagoon, we felt like we were on the set of Jurassic Park!
- camping on our own desert island off the west coast of Palawan!
- heading off the beaten track to the clear azure seas of balabac, just us in a beautiful swimming pool like sea
- The camotes islands! after a typhoon warning hit we became stranded in a tiny village...However it turned out to be a perfectly wonderful experience! we became one of the locals and we were invited to the parish night and also basketball match
- climbing mount Ijen and witnessing the hypotonic blue fire at the center of the volcano
- visiting the home of the famous Komodo dragon! We were so lucky to see one of the beasts making a nest
- Poppy completed her open water diving course and we were able to dive together after that! We have seen giant turtles, manta rays and sharks ... There's so much to see down there!

We are hoping for our first coach surfing experience so I'm afraid we have no previous references but I can assure you we are two trustworthy, easy going individuals who are eager to meet new people and experience new places.

We share a passion for skiing, diving, Quentin Tarantino films, Gin and Tonics and music festivals. We have a zest for life and exploring is our favourite thing to do. To learn more about us you will have to meet us as we also share an inability to write long descriptive passages about ourselves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are both new to couchsurfing but we love the ethos that surrounds it. We hope to share our experiences, likes, dislikes and hobbies with the new people we meet around the world! Hopefully we hope to make new friends in the process too 😃
