Hi, I'm Poppy and I'm going interrailing with my friend Nadine for a month. We are both 18 and hope to be avid travellers! This will be our first solo trip that we are taking to celebrate finishing our exams.

Neither of us has travelled much before so we are very excited to go.
Our interests involve fitness, animals and outdoor adventure! We are sociable, happy people who would be very gracious to any lovely hosts!

I'm going interrailing with my friend Nadine for a month from 13th July to 13th August. We will be visiting a variety of countries on a very low budget as we are funding this trip entirely independently of our parents. Being students, Couchsurfing is ideal for us to cut costs.

We love all genres but favour some happy pop as well as some chill reggae :)

My favourite tv series is 'Friends', while Nadine loves the comedy film 'Paul'.

I absolutely love Little Women as well as any Khaled Hosseini book. Nadine goes for any book by Horatio Clare!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Nadine and I both spent a summer training young horses, teaching them how to be ridden. I was the first one to ride one of the youngsters which was a magical and proud experience.

We also made our own cross country jumps from scratch and jumped them on our horses with no saddles!!

During our trip, we want to learn as much as we can about different cultures across Europe. This is the appeal of couchsurfing for us - we want to get a local perspective on the area. Food, traditions, phrases - we want to experience it all.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

We can teach you about our life in the British countryside, growing up looking after farmyard animals. We can tell you about British culture and teach you some fun English phrases!
