Hey! I'm Poppy, and come from England. I moved to Melbourne back in September and intend to travel around with my car and instruments, busk, see the Aussie sites and meet some lovely people along the way.

I'm very laid-back and curious about the world and love getting to know all kinds of people from all walks. I'm a very independent person and do many things alone, I think this may be from the nature of my work as a solo musician and generally a preference but I'd really love to meet some like-minded people whilst I'm over here and break away from my comfort zone!

I love a bit of a party every now and then, being British we can (claim) to drink many under the table, love card games with a good group of people but also love the wholesome side of life just as much - exploring, walking, writing etc.

My friends and music are my absolute world!

I'm a big fan of reggae, jazz, blues , funk and hip hop. A bit of everything really there aren't many types of music I don't listen to.

I love Wes Anderson films, anything colourful and beautiful. I loved 'Me, Earl and the Dying Girl', seriously amazing film. Anything which is touching, interesting with lovely visuals.

I have a very cool fact which I get a little sick of explaining to people but if neccesary it can come outta the bag!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some bits of guitar or piano if you wish!
I can do tarot cards so I could potentially give you a reading!
I make a real good stir-fry.
I really love cleaning in the mornings (not ask why I think I inherited it from my Mum) so I will happily wash some dishes and clean your kitchen in the morning!
