Overview
About Me
I am a producer for a natural history TV company in Bristol. It's a job I've been doing for seven years now, and love immensely. After six years living in the busy city I moved out to the countryside and now live in a barn conversion in a village on the edge of the city. I spent quite a few years making the most of Bristol's nightlife, but I think I've outgrown it a little and I'm now a bit more into dinner parties than house parties! On a weeknight you can usually find me milling about on the patio with a glass of wine and a book, or rowing on the river.
I love yoga, hiking in nature, gigs - and the occasional crazy night.
N.B.
I am grateful for offers from all hosts and people wanting to hang out, but I prefer not to stay with a man living alone, or to meet with people who do not have any form of verification or references. Please do not take this personally.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My job has allowed me to travel the world, and I would like to 'pay it forward' by hosting others so that they can explore my hometown, but I'm also looking forward to travelling for pleasure - as it's such a different experience than seeing a place from behind a lens!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite music, books and movies will vary depending on the day you ask me. Today I like Bonobo, Simone de Beauvoir and anything by the Duplass or Cohen brothers (what is it about epic brother duos and great films?).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've swum with whale sharks in Cenderawasih bay.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a relatively good cook and when all else fails I'm alright at making a lemon drizzle cake, and I have lots of stories to tell.
