About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To figure out the question to the answer "49"

ABOUT ME

We've known each other since Thomas couldn't spell but Lea could. Lea has a clarinet she hasn't played for a while and Thomas pretends he can play the guitar. We perform a very nice blues if asked to.
We're happy people and like to cook to our hosts even though we really should offer them to go out and eat. We both enjoy dancing as much (!) as we suck at it and we like to drink a beer (or many if possible) with great people.

PHILOSOPHY

We try to make people understand that the 10 secs rule is the 48 hours rule when at Roskilde Festival.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lea once lived with a local family in the southern West Bank that was so impressed with her (non-existing!) football talent that they actually called her "Ronaldinha" for a while..

We've just started this profile, which explains the lack of good stories and friends.. (We've got more than one friend!!!)

Interests

Politics (especially the Israeli-Palestinian conflict). Books, music, movies, football and of course travelling and meeting new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

most work by Gustav Ekelöf, Edith Södergran, Inger Christensen, Søren Ulrik Thomsen... And in the international category: Fernando Pessoa, Douglas Adams ("The Guide"!!), Hemingway, Jonathan Safran-Foer and we could go on and on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We're both very proud of the before mentioned spoons.

Teach, Learn, Share

When carving your own spoon, remember the following: always lead the knife away from yourself. Don't begin with the fork, it IS too difficult! Use strong canadian lumber; you don't want to cut to hard and end up with a stick! When finished: Sit back and show it off to all of your friends!
