About Me
Good day World
My name is Roberto and I live in North Bondi currently on a 457 visa working for booking.com. I was born in Chile, grew up near San Francisco and have lived in, Santa Barbara, Portland Or, and Seattle before embarking on this grand adventure to Sydney Australia.
I work 9-5 weekdays and travel a lot for work, which makes this time in Australia even more amazing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have traveled a lot in my life and interestingly enough never used Couchsurfing website but have been blessed by serendipitous moments in travel and would like to extend my hand for those of you out there looking for some kick ass in your journey.
I am blessed to get to live here and others should experience this great apartment and it's location next to one of the most famous beaches on the planet.
Interests
I am a bit of a thespian having done a little bit of everything throughout my life. I now work a great job and look for inspiration within society to balance the hours in front of a computer. This computer did get me to Australia...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After I graduated College I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
27 days - over 400miles - Amazing
As I embarked on the working world after college I felt it most appropriate to go on a big ritualistic adventure to signify the transition. I choose to walk with a drum the entire way. Which was something to be said as other pilgrims had a hard time justifying even 1 more pair of socks. Walking across Spain was the most free I have ever felt and the entire journey was amazing experience after amazing experience. Everyone walking connected within a culture of people asking bigger questions about their life. The only place to give those questions due process is the way of the road. Walking is the best meditation...
I will do this again in my life time
