Born and raised in the tiny island of Malta, to be exact Marsascala, a small fishing village in the south of Malta. Rachel and I moved to London in 2014 to pursue our careers in technology consultancy and financial auditing. ok, ok, ok... this bio is getting a bit too boring now. Apologies.

Outside of our busy schedules we make it a point to live by our laid-back Mediterranean lifestyle wherever we are, being never ending lunches/diners with family and friends, a glass of good wine or simply chilling to music. When back home in sunny Malta for holidays we enjoy having BBQs by the sea, laze by the beach or go for a hike/camping if its not too hot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're here to meet new people, share stories and experiences from people around the globe. Coming from a small island like Malta we're keen to experience new ideas, cultures and adventures. We'll be traveling for a few months in South America in 2017/2018 and excited to meet new people along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pretty much enjoy listening to a wide variety of music from rock bands like Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Ligabue and Pink Floyd, to Jazz music and composers like Ennio Morricone, John Williams and Hans Zimmer

Movies: La Vita a Bella, Kite Runner, The Mission and Cinema Paradiso.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mark - First in potato and spoon race from junior 1 (5 years old) to senior 5 (16 years old) - 11 years in a row. Got medals to prove it :)

Rachel - Married the number 1 potato and spoon champion. Also have a certificate to prove it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to host individuals in our attic flat in London, close to Wembley. We got a couch in our living room that opens in a sofa bed.
