About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live like I wish I did when I'm dead!

ABOUT ME

I'm a very outgoing and friendly person. I love to meet new people and do spontaneous, crazy things. I love to party and just dance to music. I also love movies and have seen way more than I can remember :-D When I was 16 I lived in Oklahoma and stayed with a host-family through an exchange program. I attended high-school for a year and graduated. That was definitely one of the best years of my life. The experiences I made were SO awesome...especially at that age. I was able to learn so much about that country, my country, other people but also myself. I have found friends for a life-time and a second family. I also learned the English language and I never miss an opportunity to speak it. I can't stand watching movies with the German synchronization.
I'm still in contact with my host-family and my heart will always stay connected with the USA but I wonna see the whole world :-)
So in 2011 I traveled around New Zealand for four months and again I have made the most amazing experiences. I think everyone should do something like this once in their life...it's hard to explain how wonderful it is. Just exploring a different country, meeting so many new (and mostly friendly) people - it's the way life should be.
After that I also lived in Lisbon, Portugal and Manchester, England. For now I'm back in Germany, though ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Basically I always do what gets into my head. I think that life is way too short to be uncertain of things and maybe not doing them because of that uncertainty and miss something wonderful.
I wish that when I'm old one day I won't have to regret anything and I hope I will never have to ask myself the question "What if..."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well...my exchange year was awesome. After that I have been an Au Pair (again in the USA) and also I have traveled through Eastern Europe with my theater-group when I was 15. That was pretty....well...interesting. It's unbelievable how big the difference between the countries can be...even though they're right next to each other.
My travels through New Zealand have probably been amazing all over....a highlight is the south-island....I wonder if I will ever find places as beautiful as I have seen down there again. But then again: I have only seen so few spots in the big world....I might not even know what real beauty actually is ;-) The sky-dive was also pretty cool:-D

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a lot about the German culture. I love to bake and my family and friends love to eat it :-D There are a whole bunch of typical German cakes.
Also I can teach some about the American culture since I've lived there for quite a while. For example....I can make some of the best chocolate chip cookies and brownies in the world :-D
