ABOUT ME
I'm an outgoing gal with a love for traveling, meeting new people, Scrubs and new and exciting adventures. I love to cook and host dinners at my place. I also love to try new food. I'm a pretty big amateur foodie, actually - I'll give anything a shot once!
PHILOSOPHY
Simply put: I think what goes around, comes around, and that everything happens for a reason.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sadly, I currently don't have a couch to call my own. However, I'm back in Toronto and I'd love to meet up for your drink of choice and show you around a bit!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have nothing but positive experiences so far with CS. I'd like to continue that trend!
Interests
Things that really grab my attention... hmmm.. I love to meet new people and experience new things, no matter how big or small. I'm a huge foodie, and love to try regional specialties. I love all kinds of music, with a particular appreciation for punk and Brit electro pop (an odd combination, if I say so myself..) I'm passionate about languages. I speak Spanish and a bit of French, but would love to learn German and Italian. I love having the ability to talk to people and learn of their world experiences that I would not have the option to if I only knew English!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Alkaline Trio, Millencolin, The Lawrence Arms, Thrice, The Ting Tings, Rise Against, Metric, Finch, Shiny Toy Guns, Death Cab for Cutie, Little Boots, La Roux, Yelle... Just to name a few. But I'm pretty open minded when it comes to culture - I'll give anything a read, listen, taste once!
Movies: My favourite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Books: I love fiction. My favourite book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. Another favourite is White Oleander (Janet Fitch.) I also love Latin American literature.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being on top of the Acropolis in Greece was an amazing experience for me. Since I was a child I've been fascinated with Greek and Roman architecture, and to stand atop the Acropolis - staring at the Parthenon in real life - was an amazing moment of this European Adventure.
