About Me
Hello!
In the past I was a fairly nomadic person. I lived in a new place every 6 months! I learned so much from traveling and am on the path to make myself as much of a global citizen as possible, but now am really enjoying this chapter of life settling into my new home with my boyfriend in Mound, Minnesota. I'm not currently accepting guests but hope to again soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love everything about couchsurfing's intention and community. One of my personal goals is to "Make Strangers Less Strange". Our society has us getting more and more fearful of each other. I want to work to change that trend. We're all just people living this crazy existence so of course it makes sense that we open our houses to each other.

Music, Movies, and Books
I've never been super savvy when it came to my taste, particularly in music. I listen to a lot of everything but find myself mostly into folk music i.e. Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Jim Croce, Joni Mitchell, etc. Or musicals. I come from a very theatrical family.
My favorite movies list is always evolving but a few from my current highlights reel are: The Lives of Others, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moonlight, I Heart Huckabees, and Thirteenth.
Memoirs are my favorite to read these days and I read/listen to any and all. I also read Flowers for Algernon recently and that was beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I organized a flashmob at my high school graduation and all 311 seniors, from jock to goth, danced in unity. It was beautiful.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University but I am not a film buff. Most of my knowledge is in relation to the human experience. I was a philosophy minor and that more aligns with my passion to constantly question and wonder. We all have something to learn from each other and I look forward to learning from every person I have the good fortune of meeting.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some wonderful lesser known movie recommendations. Delicious vegetarian meals. Discussions on the state of our society and this world. Amazing things I've learned. Hope. My positivity and enthusiasm. Yoga with Adriene, the best most accessible youtube yoga teacher around. And I've been told I'm a pretty excellent hugger.
