About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I'm open minded and open hearted. Good at socializing
and always up for a joke :) Like most germans I can be very direct and honest. I like to share thoughts with others and reflect myself.

And sometimes I like to leave my Couchsurfing account signed in for strangers to use :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is to enjoy. Enjoying life means to be productive - in any individual sense. I want to challenge myself, my personality, to learn new things and being able to reflect and change myself even when I got 80years old.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests

The last years I was working as a freelancer in classical contemporary music (western). In this field I worked with a lot of interesting people in the creative-"buisiness": composers, conductors, actors, painters, directors and so on...now I started experimenting with electronics and looping and stuff.

I really enjoy the nature and climbing outside.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I'm musician (saxophone player) all kind of music really interests me. I use to collect records (Vinyl) with jazz, african music, electro and triphop, also some guitarpop and rocky stuff
movies I watch a lot, I like the most a combination of genres, with a multi layered story and some artistic touch...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time in Serengeti where I slept in a tent and lions were roaring all night through, knowing there was no fence, no nothing between us.
Hitchhiking through Norway, standing for hours on a road without any car coming, the first car that came was a couple I was joining for the next 3 days.
Playing a solo concert in Gewandhaus Leipzig, fully sold out - in front of 2500 people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could tell a lot about music, how to play the saxophone, clarinet, didgeridoo and the jews harp (maultrommel, boca di harpa, sciacha pienzieri...)
- I used to teach saxophone and clarinet for several years....
I know some interesting but serious german card games ;) also chess and backgammon

If you could teach me some language skills I would appreciate a lot, also traditional music and how to program electronic musical devices ;)
