My name is Paola Adeline but I prefer to call me Pow. I work as a graphic artist in the concrete jungle of Makati. I spend most of my time playing videogames and then I realized that it's time to get out of the console and start my own real adventures, see new lands, meet new people and if it's possible to fight monsters, so be it.

CURRENT QUEST
Travel the whole Philippines to get to know more about my own culture and fully appreciate the beauty of my own homeland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was referred by a good Dutch traveler here. Based on his stories, it seems it's a great community and I got curious. For now I just like to meet people and join some events :)

Interests

• Arts and History: since this is what I major in a university.
• Nature tripping: Hiking, walking, camping etc.,name it and im in it.
• Foodtrip: oh yes
• Archery: Every traveling party needs a ranger..right?

MUSIC
Majority it's symphonic metal, new wave and classical but it really depends on my mood.

All of Audrey Hepburn's movies, Farewell My Concubine and Comic Book Movies, (I can watch scary movies if I'm with a group not really a fan, sorry haha)

The Song of Ice and Fire, Nancy Drew(been reading it since I was a kid) and Art Of War

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

* Rapelling down the side of a 60 foot tree, Mission Impossible style.
* Travelling the province of Skyrim by foot without the use of fast -travel. (gamers will know) ^_^

What I Can Share with Hosts

My mum teaches me the importance of pakikisama (which is a typical Filipino trait) when staying or visiting another person's home. I can help in household chores, cooking and doing errands.
