Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Working inside a research laboratory somewhat devoid you of the outside world. Feeling suppressed by the four corners of the lab, I've recently decided to take a step outside my comfort zone and started venturing the natural wonders of the Philippines and hopefully in the future, the world.

And we have to admit, traveling can sometimes become expensive. Couchsurfing helps on this aspect a lot. All while immersing us with the ways of the local community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does solo travel count? My farthest solo travel so far was in the island municipalities of Northern Samar, Philippines during my birthday weekend. I got lost once. Haha

UPDATE: Now I'm on my second year of solo birthday travel. I've traveled around Southern Mindanao (Philippines), Singapore, Bintan (Indonesia) and Johor Bahru (Malaysia) within 11 days. I should do this yearly. Lol!
