ABOUT ME
My life seems to be constant moving. Last few years I studied, lived and worked in 4 different countries, and then I decided to settle down for a while in my hometown, and currently I live my life working in the IT ground and as a teacher, and being a bit irresponsible on weekends ;)
I love animals, writing, languages, non-fiction literature & film, street art, photography, tattoos and crazy countries of Eastern and Southern Europe, as well as Caucasus. I easily get bored if the situation around is too stable. When I travel I definitely prefer hitchhiking than any other mean of transport. There is not a lot of funnier things to do than walk through the border and have a chat with border guards ;) I also have some strange love for the cities that are not obviously beautiful.
If I work, I work with passion, if I party, I party hard :D I love to joke and I rather do not take anything seriously. I am vegetarian and I love to cook and taste new things. I like to test my culinary experiments on the people around, so beware ;)
I surely don't like people who know everything and who try to tell me what I should do. I don't tell you how you should live, so I expect the same approach to me. I do not accept at my place any discriminating views, including racism, homophobia, sexism (with this one I'm exceptionally fragile lately) and more. If you like to start your sentences from "I'm not a racist, but..." please search for another host. Last thing I don't really like is arrogance and lack of sensitivity to cultural differences.
I love the company of people who are tolerant, laid-back and rather spontaneous. And I hope this (not really short) description helped you decide if you would really enjoy staying with me in Łódź.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let others live.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I can listen to most of the genres. Lately I'm stuck on folk music (mainly Turkish and Balkan, even though I was promising badly I won't listen to brass bands for half year after Guca festival ;)), Dubioza Kolektiv & other ska, Dub Inc and other reggae, Queens of the Stone Age, John Frusciante and some polish dirty rock bands. To chill out I prefer trip hop and I'm never bored with Massive Attack.
Movies: I love Czech and Romanian sense of humor, as well as Balkan craziness. So I usually watch all the movies I can find from these places.
I also like a lot all Tarantino & Almodovar films, and I'm a maniac of documentaries. I also have periods of becoming a nerd and watching TV series without limits.
As Łódź is a film city, I will gladly tell you all I know about fantastic filmmakers who finished our famous filmschool, and why do I repeatedly watch the movies of some of them.
Books: I always love to reread "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" of Milan Kundera and "Master and Margarita" of Bulkhakov. I usually read 5 books at the same time and I'm already totally lost in them.
