Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once I was lost in Tokya roppongi, I was too late for the pick up of my pre-booked hostel and just had an english adress, so I couldn't find my way (no one, absolutely no one was able to speak English). I was close to give up, sitting frustrated on my backpack in front of Roppongi station, when an angel arrived. He said something in English and I just cried for help... He spoke a bit Japanese and tried helping me in finding my hostel, we even asked at the police station, without any success. A cab driver gave up after circling around for 30 minutes although we had such a great map drawn by the police... no way to find that place. Then th eangel said "Look I really feel awkward asking you but I just mean it in a friendly way... My boss booked a double room for me, so there is a spare bed, I don't think we will find you hostel, so if you want you can stay with me." so I ended up in a 5-star hotel in Tokyo and lived in luxury, he even left me his laptop while being away during the day so that I could use the internet! Amazing guy, he really deserves being called "angel" I think!
