About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to make a major impact on our global society - the world is one country and mankind are its citizens

ABOUT ME

greetings!, moved to Leeds for uni and then stayed, do many things surrounding culture and arts, love to travel and to host! The world is my lobster and I intend to see as much of it as I can, however I'm not in a great rush to do it because I have my whole life ahead of me...

I'm quite into buddhism and philosophy and tend not to be a crazy party animal, but me and my housemates do like to cook!

PHILOSOPHY

"wherever you may be let your wind go free" (its actually my nan's but I liked it so much i adopted it myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i surfed a while, had a few surfers and now am up hosting a few more (I may be out as I tend to be quite busy but I will give you a bed)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

people have surfed my couch, becky (who was my friend already and Ali who stayed at mine via becky when a hostel fell through, from these two I learned about couchsurfing and decided that it was almost as good as bookcrossing so decided to give it a go!...

I did one massive stint of surfing 2 summers ago and honestly , It was wicked! it started with a Pot luck dinner at my first hosts house with all the buffalo, NY surfers coming over and bringing some real good food then I got to meet kittens and sherrifs and taste a whitecastles all with lots of different couches to stay on. Vive la Couchsurf! :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is something I cant live without be it 20's 30's 40's 50's, 60's 70's, 80's 90's 00's trying to be any of the previous decades. Electronic, rock, new wave, new-new wave, anything Icelandic, the fall, delta blues, music made with maths, its all fabulous music is great. yumyum. (oh I generally dont like hip to the hop rappy madness though, you know that stuff about girls booties and that. though when done in a humerous ACDC cutting cakes with knives thing or if sung by peaches I dont mind :D

Anything that came out of the 80's is generally amazing. (films, music, comedy, tv, radio, me?)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a thunderstorm in Mississippi, it blew my mind :)
