About Me

I would describe myself as an even-tempered boy, who rarely loses his temper (but like every Italian, when this happen.. Tremble everybody!) and adaptable to any situation. Easygoing, fond of jokes and helpful, I have to admit that when I meet someone for the first time I am a bit shy at the beginning, I need some time to feel completely at ease- I am working on it, and surely meeting new people may help me a lot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this community is a great way to get in touch with different and interesting people. It is the confirmation that there is a lot of goodness in this world (the simple fact of hosting someone never met before, without asking anything back, it is an example! Even if smiles and stories of life are the best "repayment" :D ).

Interests

I like sports, at the moment going to the gym is what I enjoy more (which I think is not just a physical activity, but a proper lifestyle itself that includes an healthy alimentation- pasta and cakes are allowed, let's say it!!), even if I played many different sports (included six years of american football), and I'm really into extreme sports, I've tried many and want to try all of them!
I enjoy reading books, especially fantasy and the ones dedicated to the subjects I am interested in, watching NFL matches, spending time with my friends and my family too. I like dogs and cats (and also mice and chinchillas!), travel and visit also non-touristic places (I recently found out the beauties of Sri Lanka).
I enjoy improvising following the plans my friends made for the evening :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to electronic music and all its subgroups, but I am open-minded to all the other genres. When I go to the cinema and the movie has a good soundcheck, I like download it as the first thing once I come back at home :)
When I was younger I was a big fan of Harry Potter, of course, and I hoped for months to receive an invitation letter from Hogwarts to study there- unfortunately this has never happened. I like thrillers written by Glen Cooper and Manfredi.
I recently read "Game of Thrones" (after having watched the tv series, which i really like) and it's been an interesting surprise! I also enjoy the tv series "Spartacus", war movies like "the Rock", and I am a big fan of "Frankenstine junior".
My favorite movie ever is "Remember the Titans".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think that something needs to be "universally an amazing thing" (like, doing bunjee-jumping from the Niagara Falls or something like that!) to be considered great. Also a small and simple thing can be fantastic!
Taking part to the american-football team of my country (under 18) in the 2010 has been a great experience for example, which I will take with me forever.
Swimming in the Indian Ocean when I was in Sri Lanka has been cool too, as well as a road trip with friends, vans and tent from Vancouver to California and back

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been to a theatre play for blind people. We were all sitting in a complete and thick dark, and the entire play was only made by sounds, music, smells. It's been a really interesting and intense experience, because it taught me to see things with my heart an my imagination. It also made me think about the fact that we all take for granted many and many things generally considered as "normal", as the view.
I like sharing my knowledge about gym and diet, and I often give advices to my friends.
