ABOUT ME

I am noisy, annoyingly talkative, have a low self-esteem coupled with delusions of grandeur, my humour is filthy at best, if not downright shabby, I'm pessimistic and I got the obnoxious tick of playing with my hair all the time.
If, however, you want to read something positive about me, read my references! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have surfed numerous couches in Australia and some in Europe and every experience has been unique in its own way. I definitively wouldn't want to miss one of them since I met the most interesting, lovely people by doing this and hope to be able to give something back!

Intereses

music (I play the violin, saxophone and bits and pieces on the piano), films (my art form of choice), art in general and philosophy. Also languages and travelling and everything that comes with it.
I also enjoy sport, even though I watch it more than I do it myself. I love playing tennis though (even though I'm quite crappy at it ;)

Música, películas y libros

I cannot really reduce it to one or two movies or books, but to give you an image of my taste: one of my alltime favourite books is "The Wishing Game" by Patrick Redmond. I also like the Harry Potter books (no matter what people might think, but I'm totally obsessed with it :) and am a fan of Tolkien thus to say "Lord Of The Rings". I enjoy reading Hermann Hesse and Goethe and other Classics.

There are so many films I would have to list, so I'd better name my favourite directors: Billy Wilder, Tim Burton, David Fincher, Alfred Hitchcock, Hayao Miyazaki, Cameron Crowe, Marc Forster.

I do listen to rock/indie music and love soul (and all styles related with it)! Occasionally I listen to some classical (which means romantic, baroque, etc.) music but have to have time to really dig in and enjoy it!

Hiked through South-Western Ireland and experienced the wonders of nature.
Traveled Australia for a year.
Lived and traveled Spain for a year.
Spent two weeks in Japan with a wonderful host family.

Without any exaggeration or self-praise I make one of the best Mousse au Chocolat in the world. Since it is a secret recipe I can't teach you, but I will share if you ask! :)
