About Me

Hey fellow traveler!
At the moment it is impossible for me to host you as I am currently living one of my life dreams. Living in Russia. So...if you find my profile and would still like to be hosted by my amazing family. Keep reading. Their info is somewhere down here.

I try to reply as soon as i see your request.
If you ask to be hosted there is a 99.99999% chance that I will say yes, so please don't send a request just to later write that you'll stay somewhere else.

+If you are in Toluca my guess is that you either have a layover or
you are here to visit el Nevado+

-If your reason is a layover. I live 10 minutes away from the airport so there's no absolute reason you'll ever be late.

-If visiting El Nevado is the reason you "fall" around this area I can give you the best directions and tips to get there whether by bus, taxi, car or ride.

I used to take surfers myself, but sadly now I must be more careful of my economy (gas prices went up and mantaining an old offroad beetle turned into an expensive hobbie). Sucks because I've been there more times than I can remember and I know a couple ways to the top.

------------I recommend visiting el Nevado Mon-Fri-------------
Saturdays and Sundays, besides the area being packed with tourists and the admission to the Natural park (50 pesos), you also have to pay the locals for a ride up and then down the mountain (100 pesos for the round trip)

-Everybody is welcome unless allergic or intolerant of cats. - We have cats coming and leaving all the time as neighbors sometimes bring or we find them on the street. For the most part we give them in adoption, though a few have stayed through the years.

We have a big heart. We absolutely adore animals and well...Taking in cats it's like the Mafia; once you are in, there's no way out. They are pretty mystic, elegant and well; kind of magic.

If you'd like coming but you have problem with pets inside the house I could also arrange you stay at my father's house (less than a km away)

I like cats (wow, who would've guessed it), hiking, off-road driving, VW bugs, languages, cinema and TV shows.

I'm quite silent, but don't let that discourage you....eventually, if I like your energy, I open up...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few years ago I was diagnosed with Schizoid personality disorder (completely different from schizophrenic personality disorder. In short it kind of means that I am in a constant state of "meh" about pretty much anything.

Being in Couchsurfing started as my excuse for improving myself, meeting people and getting out more often (I could literally spend my life away inside my home...)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Blues,Classic,Rock...
almost anything but mexican regional, banda, regueton or super crazy blastbeat metal.
My favorite books were usually those with philosphical themes....I say "were" because a couple years ago I took to "dumb" myself and stopped reading. Smart people are not happy people. The more you know, the less you know...That kind of thing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived 10 months in Thailand. I grew up a lot that year.
I lived 5 months in Poland.
2 times I spent 2 months in CA

Ask me about the worst and funniest day I have ever had at El Nevado de Toluca.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can drive, accompany or tell you what are the nice places that surround Toluca; archeological zones, magic towns, if you want i could even guide you to the summit of el nevado de Toluca...
