I am currently finishing a round-the-world adventure in South America. I plan to travel the continent and volunteer in the rainforest before ultimately landing somewhere to teach English

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host surfers when I'm home, and surf when I'm not.
Currently I am traveling and unable to host

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite experiences came from CSing in the wrong order (meeting people in person, staying with them, and then later finding/referencing them on CS). 2 of my favorites were Dutch ultimate frisbee players, I met at frisbee tournaments (Tom and Gerben).

I didnt end up using CS as much as I thought I would on my world trip. My internet access was very limited and I rarely ever planned my next move far enough ahead of time to CS.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Witnessed a lava flow up close in Hawaii (illegally)
Hiked 10km on the Great Wall of China
Spent a night at Mt. Everest Base Camp (5200m),
Spent the summer of 2010 hitch-hiking, camping and backpacking all over Europe (hit most major tourist destinations)
Taught a local charity group to play ultimate frisbee in Dar es Salaam Tanzania and later shipped them equipment so they could implement frisbee in their programs.
