Hello! My name is Prabashwara and I’m a programmer from Sri Lanka living in the Czech Republic. Since my name is hard for many people to pronounce, I usually call myself bash :)

Until a few years ago, I never considered myself a traveler. I spent most of my time behind screens and that was the only life I knew so I was completely fine with it. But after going on exchange to Malaysia for 2 months, I discovered that there was a lot more to life than just screens. Since then I have been taking every chance I get to see the amazing things that the world has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part about all my travels are all the people I met along the way. I have been really lucky to meet some amazing people from around the world and the experiences we had together are some of the best I have ever had. For me it was always the people rather than the places that made travelling great. And that is why I am on couchsurfing.
