The idea of opening your home & yourself to complete strangers who over the period of few days & nights become your eyes & ears to the maps they followed, to the roads they took in places unknown & unheard to you.
Also when I travel, to stay with locals hearing & roaming around like a local discovering the place I could never do as a tourist.
