ABOUT ME

I live on the North Oregon Coast (Seaside) with my girlfriend Katherine and our three dogs. I enjoy traveling and a good adventure. I did a large block of traveling during the two years I lived in Prague and continue to travel when I have time.

I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time hiking, climbing, biking, etc. Our next big trip looks to be Egypt and Jordan in October. We are both pretty active, which limits our ability to host. Feel free to give me your dates and I'll see if it works out. I'm usually able to grab a beer or some food if you're traveling through!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't waste your time doing things you don't enjoy. If you want something you have to work for it and spend the time to make it happen!

I host if I can but am usually available to grab some food or a drink and give advice on things worth doing in the area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience surfing was on a trip to India and I loved getting that first hand, local's perspective in a new area. Since then I have surfed in Hungary, Poland, and Ukraine. I've hosted folks I've met on this site and people I've met during my travels and It has always been a positive experience!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Things that are amazing to ME - Backpacking India, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane at 13,000 feet, taking part in a Bollywood movie, and I'm lucky to have been able to see the remains of ancient civilizations around the world and experience history firsthand. Somehow I ended up in the middle of a riot in Athens which was quite interesting. Exploring Chernobyl should be classified as an interesting experience I think, as was my climb to the top of Kilimanjaro.
