ABOUT ME

I was supposed to become a great adventurer, live my life abroad and escape the gloominess and few wordedness of Finland. What happened was that I built my family of close friends in here and decided to stay. Now instead of enjoying the burning sun of south, I spend my mornings by a bright light lamp from September to March fighting winter depression.

Also Finland changed and became more possible for blabbers like me. My only goals are to make unspoken things spoken and everything laughable.

I like and appreciate people, they interest me. I like to hear about their sensitivities and relationships to other people, society and the world around them. But one thing you cannot do - you can't compensate for me hosting you with your travelling stories. You don't have to pay in any way and I generally don't care where it was awesome.

I'm a social scientist and it has affected me a lot. At the moment I'm starting my PhD studies at Gender Studies. My background is in International Relations, but I've always been most inspired by the Feminist Theory.

As a traveller I'm independent and spontaneous. I tend to appreciate things like a nap in a park or a beer at a terrace more than seeing all the sights you're supposed to. I like to visit art museums and eat falafels. If you can show me something weird, please do.

My favourite music at the moment or always might be these: Janis Joplin, Dark Dark Dark, Rihanna, Cat Power, The Beatles, J.Karjalainen, Antti Tuisku.

I'm not a movie person. But sometimes I like some of them.
