Hi, I'm Prakash Kumar Jha, a PhD candidate at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, specializing in African Studies. My research focuses on the role of the Indian diaspora in the development of Madagascar, particularly in terms of economic, social, and cultural contributions. I’m passionate about exploring how communities abroad maintain their identities while integrating into new environments.

Beyond research, I enjoy discussing global cultures, history, and diaspora communities, and I’m always keen on meeting people from different walks of life. I’ve traveled to various parts of India and now look forward to my fieldwork in Madagascar, which will involve meeting diverse groups and understanding their stories. I love exchanging ideas, cooking vegetarian meals, and sharing insights from my academic journey.

When I’m not researching or traveling, I enjoy reading, writing, and staying connected with the world around me. Looking forward to meeting like-minded people and learning from each other’s experiences!
