Über mich

Hey there! I’m a passionate traveler and adventure enthusiast with an interest in ultra-endurance sports, especially trekking and long-distance cycling. I thrive on pushing my limits and exploring new terrains, whether it’s a mountain trail or a winding road. I believe that the best stories come from the road less traveled, and I’m always eager to share experiences and learn from fellow adventurers. I have found a keen interest in trekking lately, and have also traversed a few Himalayan trails solo.

Interests:
Trekking: Like I said, it is a newfound interest, but I am absolutely loving it. These days, I spend a lot of my free time planning solo treks.

Outdoor Adventures: Whether it’s hiking, running, or skiing, I’m always up for a challenge in nature.

Cultural Exchange: I love meeting new people and learning about their cultures, food, and stories. Sharing a meal or a drink is a great way to connect!

Travel Style: I travel light and strive to be eco-friendly in all my adventures. Whether it’s minimizing waste, using sustainable transportation, or supporting local businesses, I believe in protecting the environment while experiencing new places. I’m respectful of others’ space and always clean up after myself.

What I Offer: I’m more than happy to share trekking and cycling tips, training advice, or even a meal if you’re up for it! I love to swap stories and connect over our shared interests. If you have the time, I could take you on a short adventure in the Himalayas.

I’m excited to meet fellow adventurers, share experiences, and maybe even plan some epic rides together. Let’s make some memories!

Feel free to reach out if you’re up for a chat or need a place to stay. Happy travels!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music - Mostly from the Indian subcontinent including hindustani and carnatic classical, ghazal, qawwali, bollywood classics, folk music, fusion. Sometimes also listen to the music from the west which can vary from upbeat indie rock to soothing acoustic melodies.

Movies - Dramas and thrillers mostly. Last movie I loved was Monster (Japanese).

Books - Most of my reading, lately, is Hindi/Urdu poetry. Saaye Mein Dhoop by Dushyant Kumar is one of my favourite collection of poems. I also love classic short stories, particularly those of Premchand and O. Henry.
