Originally from Barcelona, so my roots are Catalan, but I fell in love with a Brazilian guy so I came to live with him in Brasilia. Been here for six years now.

I'm a Chinese Medicine Practitioner and I teach yoga at a fitness centre.

I love to dance, travelling, tasting delicious local cuisine and I'm passionate about music. I also enjoy nature, hiking, biking, jogging or just breathing under a tree.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some years ago, during a period of my life dedicated entirely to the spiritual path of yoga, I travelled around the world working on organizing yoga retreats, and became a nomad. I left my home in Barcelona and spent nearly 4 years travelling, without having my own home. During this period I met many people who opened their home for me to stay and opened their heart to trust. We discovered together another meaning of sharing. I needed a place to stay and I always tried to share my experience with yoga and meditation with those with whom I stayed. And this was before I even knew about Couchsurfing...
We were practicing the concept of Couchsurfing before we had even heard about it!

The idea of a life out of a conventional system appealed to me very much. And the experience of meeting so many different people, with different backgrounds, belief systems, cultures....was absolutely mind blowing. I came to realize the similarity in all of us. On the surface, we all have different point of views, but on a deeper level we all have the same needs, fears and loving essence. I learnt more about yoga in these encounters with other people than in sacred books or seminars with Gurus. It was an amazing experience.

So when I came across Couchsurfing I was so happy that a whole community with that same concept of sharing had come together into a website... I just could't believe it! I became a fan and a surfer immediately. And it was great... again :)

I'm also very interested in natural medicine as I'm blown away by the complexity of our human nature. I like to study from different traditions as they all have they're own language to express and understand the human behaviour and health.
Finding the balance in life... walking the middle path, learning how to enjoy the ride!

I am open to learn from those who are happy or passionate about something. I love cooking, so I can teach how to cook some Thai food, spanish tortilla or delicious paella!
