Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been a member of this great community since 2011 when I first discovered it. Throughout the years I have traveled to foreign destinations and have met other members who offered their time to show me around their city. I have also hosted on several occasions for travelers mostly from Europe and South America. I've also hosted a couple parties for the local couchsurfing community when I was living in Los Angeles. The first time was during Halloween, and after that was an afternoon potluck BBQ.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've bungee jumped from a hot air balloon. Sky dived in Monterrey, California. Swam with hundreds of wild spinner dolphins in the Hawaiian islands. I am Scuba certified and have had multiple encounters with sharks, specifically tiger, reef, hammer head, leopard and nurse. Have run and finished two marathons.

I can share my experiences from travel, from upbringing, multiple cultures. Offer insights into Indian and Asian cooking as well knowledge of Hinduism and Buddhism.
