Overview
About Me
I like to believe I'm an open minded, easy going person, always ready to brainstorm and learn new things. The last four years I have spent in Beijing studying and working various more or less intellectual jobs. It was great experience but I needed to take a break from big city life and want to enjoy nature and simpler way of living and get my hands dirty again. This year I started with a meditation retreat in the south of Thailand which was an amazing experience that taught me a lot and I recommend it to everyone. I believe that the world peace is possible but only if we find the inner peace as individuals first.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a musical, sing and dance while the music is being played.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always offer a couch when there is a possibility. When there is not, I am checking groups more and trying to attend some CS meetings. Now that I'm traveling for a longer period I hope I will get more surfing experience, because so far I was mostly hosting.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted couple of people and surfed a bit. My experience was thoroughoutly positive and I'm glad that such platform exists.
Interests
Music, Food, Sport, History, Meditation, Mindfulness, Exploring the Inside and Outside.
Music, Movies, and Books
I used to read three books at a time in high school, then I was really into movies and watched couple of movies a week. Now I care about movies less and less and prefer a good book. I have always loved music and it's growing stronger every day. I have learned how to dj last year and I can dance whole night to any kind of music as long as the music is good.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In January I have bought one way ticket to Bangkok with little savings left, did a meditation retreat, hitchhiked through Thailand and Laos, spend one day in Myanmar, volunteered a bit and worked my ass off in Cambodia so I could return back home to enjoy the summer. Now I am in Berlin for the first time before I finally take a well-deserved rest at home.
Teach, Learn, Share
Every day is a new lesson to me. Although I have spent many years studying, I believe that best school is the School of Life. I love to share the things I've learned and I'm always open to learn something new.
What I Can Share with Hosts
good vibez and my growing passion for cooking.
