I love writing and although I don't spend as much time as I'd like to, it’s something I’ve stuck with for 10 years now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I started travelling as a kid with my family, we always stayed at good hotels where they served the kind of food we were already used to having. This touristic approach deprived me of being on the receiving end of authentic cultural experiences and local cuisine. That's when I started staying in hostels and came across couch surfing.

Interests

I'm passionate about how effectively I spend my time!

Adventure: I like a little risk. High altitude Himalayan treks, River rafting, trail running, long-distance cycling and paragliding are some of the things I've learnt and indulged in-depth.

Sports: I'm a huge cricket, tennis and football buff. Been playing and following sports since I was a kid.

My education being commerce and business, I can talk about entrepreneurship, finance, stock market and allied topics for hours!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music; I listen to soft as well as hardcore music. Some of the artists that I am really fond of - Bryan Adams, Johnny Cash, Bon Jovi, Metallica, Linkin Park, Pink Floyd, Queen, Camel, Tool, etc.

I listen and attend a lot of local music concerts

Movies: I am a big fan of mind-boggling thrillers, crime, adventure, comic book adaptations, World Cinema and movies that focus on human psyche. Some of my favourite movies are - The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Into the wild, The Truman Show, Martin Scorsese & Christopher Nolan movies, MCU series, Lighthouse, etc.

Books: Sidney Sheldon, Ayn Rand, Paulo Coelho, Mark Manson, Tim Ferriss and Dave Trott are some of my favourite Authors. I’ve written a book too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I can fly!

I mean I am a certified Paragliding Pilot and I have done 3 solo flights :)

I have had a fair bit of an adventurous life. I can share some pretty crazy and interesting tales!
