Being reasonably good and continuously learning... throughout my life. They are among the few things that is perhaps actually in our "control".

ABOUT ME

Good humoured (and I do like good humour), adventurous, curious (hope to never lose that!), sociable, a love for cultures, languages, good food, good company... plus a few more adjectives - of the positive variety :)

PHILOSOPHY

This is one of those continuously learning things. I'm not "religious", by most definitions of the term, but an "agnostic", perhaps - bit of the "Russel's teapot" there!

"Live and let live", "middle path", "monism" (some influence from Vedanta) are all probably found in my current "personal philosophy".

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host up to two people (for now). Take folks around, close by. Share tea or coffee and breakfast. Engage in a good conversation. Educate and be educated.
Also, participate as a good guest :)

兴趣

All sorts of outdoor and Indoor activities. I enjoy Hiking, camping, long drives and other outdoor activities. I also enjoy the many sights of a city, museums, learning languages, food, drinks and pretty much any thing by which I can have good cultural experiences - with appropriate respect to things, of course. I enjoy good conversations on just about any topic, past, present and future!

Music, I listen to all kinds.. western classical to Rock, Indian classical, Vedic chants (yes, somewhat "musical"), Spanish songs, etc etc.
Movies and books - ah, far too many to mention!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Broadening my mind, broadening my outlook - I'd like to think. Interacting with and absorbing all the different cultures, lifestyles, thoughts, ideas, etc., I've been lucky to be exposed to, both in living in California and in my travels. I have, of course, done "activities" that one may call amazing (spelunking in east Malaysia, etc.), but, this "living experience" is certainly the most amazing.. and perpetually so!
