ABOUT ME

Namaskar !

My initiative towards CouchSurfing was towards meeting interesting people and learn about new things in life. It worked. I came across and hosted some really nice folks. But recently have been pretty busy, hence, a bit selective.

In India we have a saying "atithi devo bhava" which basically means 'guests are a form of God' thus we should treat them to our best possible capability. We have this practice in our house.

I'm an MBA from ISB, Hyderabad; Kellogg School of Business, Chicago and Wharton School of Business, Pennsylvania. We are a business house based out of Kolkata ~ own and operate hospital, hotel, school, etc.

I'm married to Sushmita - 7 yrs now! No kids.

I love to travel. In India & Overseas. So I try and take as many holidays in a year as possible. My work pattern permits me flexibility if I organize things back here properly. So .. i make the best of it :D

Life is short, time is less, pack in as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

"If you cant travel - bring the world to your door" - That could be (my personal) punchline for CouchSurfing! Due to my busy year, I have not been able to travel much, but CouchSurfing brings to us the whole world at our doorsteps. Have hosted & met people from many countries / cultures / backgrounds - that to me is one of the main incentives of traveling.
