ABOUT US:
We are an easy going and chill couple who like to travel whenever we get time out of our hectic work schedules. We are always open to new adventures, new experiences and new possibilities. We love to explore different places, have conversations with locals, know about their culture and we like to put ourselves in their shoes and experience their lives. We both work in IT so we keep our laptops and bags packed and are mostly on the move due to work related travel or our own leisure travel. We believe in seeing places and creating memories with both people and places in our travel. We are amicable and social people. We both love meeting people, having long conversations and hearty laughs over beers. If we commit to something we usually leave no stone unturned to fulfil our promises.

ABOUT ME:
I believe I am a social and an extrovert person who also happen to work in IT Sales. I am a peoples person. I love to connect with people and keep in touch. I am proud to have nurtured so many lasting friendships over many years. My friends usually call me a good friend. I try to put in a lot of effort to be in touch . I enjoy travelling as it makes my soul feel alive and gives me an opportunity to meet different people and get to know their perspective towards life, their thoughts and ideas. My other interests include- reading, watching cricket, football , following stock market trends, beers and poker sessions.

ABOUT MY WIFE:
She is a Software engineer by profession . She is driven by passion and usually puts her heart and soul in everything she believes in. She loves to travel and shares same passion as me . She has an adventurous soul who doesn’t shy away from diving in ocean or getting on the highest roller coaster rides. Her other interests include dancing, watching Netflix , shopping, playing with our dog and long walks.

CURRENT MISSION
We are not exactly aiming to be globe trotters but we definitely want to create our own memorabilia of our travel experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an amazing community to bond with people who are passionate about travelling and share personal experiences. We got so moved by the passion and peoples love for this community that we consciously decided to be more involved. Through couchsurfing, We connected with some fantastic people who have opened the gates of their homes and hearts to us. It has given us friends like family.
We continue to cherish all the bonds we created during the CS events, meet-ups and Namaste Winter Couch crash Chandigarh and will keep up the spirit in future!

Bollywood music, different genres of music depending on our mood. Movies - Dictator, The Notebook , Forest Gump Bollywood movies- DDLJ, Kuch Kuch hota hai , Dil Chahata hai , Zindagi na milegi dobara. Books- My wife enjoys fiction I like to read about reality .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done many amazing things in my life . To some up a few-

As a part of our last travel -
Road Trip in Turkey-. We drove from Istanbul to Izmir to Kuşadası to Pamukkale to Antalya . It was spectacular to see the terrains changing and beautiful landscapes. To sum up , it was an adventurous road trip and an experience to cherish.

Diving in the ocean in Phi Phi, Pattaya ( Thailand), Maldives and Singapore countless swimming pools in India and abroad without knowing swimming completely. (What can we say , We love beaches)

Off roading In Rajasthan(India) and Desert Safari in UAE

River Rafting in Rishikesh( India)

Treks and hikes in India other parts of Asia and Europe

Also , keeping a pet changed our life. We have a Labrador named Magic. Never knew we could love someone so unconditionally till he came in our life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Exchange ideas and thoughts. We know little bit of German and French and have good command over Hindi and Punjabi language. Can teach about India , our culture, basic Indian cuisines and also if someone is interested I can teach poker and my wife can teach bollywood dance moves.
