Overview
About Me
I belong to India and living in Munich as a doctoral student in Space Technology at DLR. I am an open minded, easy going and patient guy. I am a nature lover, and try to be as close to it as possible. I like exploring new places and people. The more mysterious a thing is, the more it interests me. I am very much into adventurous, unplanned trips, in the middle of nowhere, or at the end of somewhere.
You would love my company if you like to discuss Science, Philosophy or Arts. And you would love my company if you like to have a Beer. And you would love my company if you want to go on a mission to save the planet from barbaric aliens.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet people, more people, people with different point of views about life and to learn them. I also like exploring obscure places where one can easily find people through CS.
I am on an instantaneous trip on most of the weekends, and a platform like CS is developed for people like me. So far, I had only one experience on CS, which turned out to be great.
Interests
I love going on adventure trips to mountains, lakes and valleys, hiking, trekking etc. I love watching movies, especially European. I am also much into Rock music, I play guitar. I like reading Science and Philosophy, and love to discuss on it and on vague and crazy ideas about life and existence. I sometimes do Inlines. Solving puzzles is my favorite time pass when I am not on a mission.

Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of Rock, Blues, Folk, Jazz and Experimental music. The ones I listen the most: Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Black Sabbath, Frank Zappa, and many more.
The movie list is endless. I watch films of all genres, all countries, all cultures, all languages. I am specifically fond of French films of 60s-80s. Mostly, I prefer watching thought provoking, out of the world, experimental and passionately made films.
Tarkovsky, Bergman, All French New Wave filmmakers (Goddard, Truffaut, Resnais, Rohmer, Rivette), Jodorowsky, Orson Welles, Haneke, Lars von Trier, Kieślowski, Stanley Kubrick, Fellini, Takashi Miike, David Lynch and many others
P.S. Some Hollywood films are really good.
I am not much of a reader, because of the insufficient time. Nevertheless, there always one book in hand I am going through. I prefer reading Science and Philosophy books, sometimes Fiction as well. The most thoughtful book I have ever read is WHAT IS LIFE by Erwin Schrödinger. The books below are worth mentioning:
One, Two, Three ... Infinity by George Gamow
Shadows of the Mind by Roger Penrose
Hyperspace by Michio Kaku
The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins
The Fall by Albert Camus
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed on the Himalayas, to Indrahar Pass (4300 m above sea level)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach guitar, Inlines, cooking Indian food, saving the planet, teleport yourself to a parallel universe and be back without letting your mind know.
There is so much I would want to learn, anything from constructing a bridge to Origami, depends on what you can teach me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with you my thoughts and ideas about life and also how Science works. I can tell you the theories on Universe, Black Hole, Elementary Particles, Space and Time etc. A healthy discussion makes my day.
MOVIES
I can suggest you a lot of good movies, in many languages if you have a love for cinema. Watching a movie together would also be great.
MUSIC
We can share our music tastes. I am always curious about new experimental bands, and in return I can tell you some bands as well. If you play any instrument, and if I am carrying my guitar, we can have an exciting jam session.
