Overview
About Me
I am from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City, famously known as the city of Gandhi and Modi.
I wear many hats: organizing large sporting events in India, running a non-profit focused on rural girls’ education and sustainable transport, working as a climate change activist, managing my sister’s elite sports, media, and sponsorships, mentoring young people, and actively participating in amateur sports and various NGOs.
I cherish nature, appreciate diverse cultures and cuisines, and love meeting new people to learn from their perspectives and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m eager to meet new people, explore different cultures and histories, share the joys of music and sports, and have fun along the way!
I believe memories are much richer and more meaningful when shared with others. I’m even willing to skip the tourist attractions in a country if it means making new friends.
I also enjoy hosting and have a spare room available. However, I do travel frequently for both work and personal reasons.
Interests
My passions include sports, adventure, fitness, food, travel, and connecting with people. I’m an avid reader with interests spanning Indian, U.S., and international politics, history, geography, international relations, economics, and climate change.
I’m also deeply passionate about adventure sports. I’m a certified Advanced SCUBA diver and advanced paragliding pilot, with experience in mountaineering, trekking, and mountain biking. On the competitive side, I’ve been a national-level chess player and triathlete, and I’m actively involved in distance running and cycling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a deep love for a wide variety of movies and series. I’m also an avid reader, diving heavily into both topics of interest and fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age of 21, I completed a full marathon (42 km) in just 3 hours, qualifying for the prestigious Boston Marathon and earning recognition as one of India’s fastest amateur runners.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am fluent in English and can teach two Indian languages. I enjoy discussing a wide range of topics, including endurance sports, adventure activities, and Indian and global history, culture, religion, and politics.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’m always willing to lend a hand with any household tasks. Additionally, I’m skilled in practical work such as carpentry, electrical repairs, and plumbing.
