Hello everyone! My name is Pratheep, an Indian national living in Dublin, Ireland. I currently work as a Marketing Manager in a Travel-tech company. I have lived in England, Scotland and now residing in Ireland. I'm a good conversationist and love to talk about sports and technology. I'm a foodie that think Indian cuisine is the best cuisine in the world (haha). I'm a whisky drinker and enjoy a fine single malt. I like to try new things in life and have changed my career 3 times so far- from electronic engineer to medical engineer to digital marketer. In my free time, I love watching TV shows and recently started watching other language movies too.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Although most of the time I travel with my mates, I recently started traveling solo for a weekend getaway and enjoy it. I'm planning to do more such solo trips this coming year. I came across Couchsurfing and believe this would be a fantastic way to meet people and travel the local people's way. I'm interested in sharing knowledge and acquiring travel tips from a local or someone who has traveled extensively. I believe in good conversation to know people, their culture, tradition, way of life, etc. I love to learn new things from people I meet and share my experience as well to mutually benefit and contribute to each other's lives. Who knows, I may even find some good friends and travel buddies here.

I listen to anything with a good tune but prefer rock and metal. Being Indian, I also listen to lot of Indian music :)

Lots of movies to name - Star Wars, Matrix, X-men, Chris Nolan's movies. Although I prefer thrillers and suspense, I also enjoy silly ones like Johnny English.

5 projects (coursework & dissertation) for my master's degree were based on alcohol and alcohol companies. I guess I may have a problem there!

I currently live in a shared accommodation and won't be able to offer a couch. However, I would be glad to take you around, get you the best Guinness, take you to a proper Irish dinner (yes, potatoes ofcourse) and share a good laugh.
