single parent, whom now is no longer required as dads taxi. my daughter work/studies has own car.have plenty of time to share this beautiful part of the world with others, and hope soon to be travelling myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

currently involed as a volunteer in coast care group and a disabled surfers group, member of a local surfing club, busy member of meetup groups.

have stayed with many people abroad and in australia, mainly friends and relatives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one still grey winters morning on kangaroo island, i drove to a remote surf break, and in a misty dawn, paddled out on my surf board towards the surf break, and observed whales swimming in formation less than 500 metres from where I was surfing. A frightened seal swam around me and climbed up the rocks on the shore, I paddled in to the shore after a short surf.
Latter when getting changed, a local surfer arrived, to let me know, I had been out surfing as a pod of killer whales/ orcas had passed through the bay. This is one of my very own morning of the earth expeirences namaste paul
