News Editor by profession but my passion characterises me as a travel enthusiast. I'm fascinated by arts, food & culture, languages, lifestyles, thrilling activities, and adventures in the wilderness that gives me the 'once-in-a-lifetime' feeling & experience! I have a different outlook towards life and never seek to live it the common way. I'm rather more easygoing with facing life challenges boldly, with instability, the nomadic lifestyle and doing things out of common! I like interacting with people on various topics from music to politics! I believe in good karma, helping selflessly & of-course enjoying life to the fullest! 💃

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : I have been exposed to Bollywood music since my childhood and grew up developing a kind of strong emotional attachment to Bollywood music & lyrics but My choice of music also diversifies due to the greater exposure i have had to the world. I have preferences for Country music, Opera, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Celtic, Sufi but I also adore any genre of music I come across that hit the chord of my heart!

Movies : I wonder from where to start this never ending list! 😬😁 I have a penchant for Romcoms but I can appreciate any movie that’s got me gripping. Okay just to mention few of my favourites - (Manga) Spirited Away/Grave of the Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro, I’m a Ghibli Studio fan, so the list goes on!, (Hollywood) Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Lord of the Rings/ Da Vinci Code/V for Vendetta/The curious case of Benjamin Button/The Proposal/ This means war.

Books: I consider books to be my Gurus since they enrich me with abundant knowledge. I have a preference for travel, history, geography, philosophy, biographies & inspirational books. Besides, I have read all of Robin Sharma’s collection and Agatha Christie's every novel as I'm a detective book lover.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've chased lady Aurora in Scandinavia and was lucky to admire her dancing and adorning the night sky at the Snow Hotel in the Arctic circle in Rovaniemi. That was truly an amazing sight engraved in my heart forever! I also met Santa Claus in Rovaniemi & it felt like my childhood dream was realized instantly!! Besides that, I keep doing amazing things that makes me feel ALIVE, esp while traveling around the world- from snorkelling to paragliding, ice-karting, fat biking, Reindeer Safari, Husky rides, Snowmobiling...I never miss the adrenaline-pumping activities!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I can teach Yoga and how to cook some amazing local & international dishes!
Learn - I am fond of languages and love to learn basic level of some languages at least. I'm also keen to learn more about adaptability- i.e how to adapt to new environments as per the given resources & situations.
Share - I can share my travel experiences, my knowledge about the places I’ve been to, and I can give many tips on solo traveling.
