Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing to experience places through people, not just locations.

After traveling solo across India, mostly by hitchhiking, I realized the most meaningful part of travel comes from shared time, conversations, and everyday life — not hotels or tourist checklists. I use Couchsurfing to connect respectfully, learn locally, and contribute as a thoughtful guest.

Interests

I enjoy slow conversations, street food exploration, long walks in unfamiliar neighborhoods, and listening more than talking.

I’m interested in human stories, local routines, simple living, and observing how different people see life. I like documenting journeys, early-morning chai, and meaningful silence as much as deep discussions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked solo across most of India (except North India), traveling with strangers, truck drivers, villagers, and locals — relying purely on trust, conversation, and adaptability.

That journey taught me how to read people quickly, respect boundaries, stay grounded in unfamiliar places, and live with minimum resources. I learned that hospitality exists everywhere when you show up honest and humble.
