One of my passions in life is learning different languages. Throughout my life, being able to speak different languages has allowed me to appreciate different cultures and communicate with a world of different people. Whether I was in France, China, or the Dominican Republic, language allowed me to connect with the local community. I will never forget celebrating "La Galette Des Rois" every year at school, eating Niangoa (a rice dessert) for good luck in Beijing during Chinese New Year, or listening to merengue in the Dominican Republic. Language is so fascinating because each one has its own unique rhythm, accent, and flavor. Language plays a significant role in my life because language is love. Love for adventure. Love for curiosity. Love for people.
