Overview
About Me
I am an adventurous student traveling the country as a last hurrah before entering the working world when I graduate in December. Born and raised in Mobile, AL on the coast, I have explored a great deal of the southeast and I've been blessed with opportunities to see several individual cities around the country. I am now going to see every part of the country with three close friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am traveling the country with three friends, primarily tent camping around in state and national parks. Other times, we are staying with friends in some cities, surfing on their couches. With 90+ days of travel and outdoors, the more showers and AC we can get the better! I am on Couchsurfing to further expand our opportunities at finding places to stay.
Interests
I love everything outdoors: hiking, climbing, fishing... anything outside. Wild flowers are my favorite things in the world closely followed by sunsets. Amateur photographer trying my hardest to document all the wonders of my cross country adventure. Would rather explore to the top of a mountain than settle for a cruddy view.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite bands are probably Lettuce & Moon Taxi, I am a fan of the funk. However, I enjoy all genres of music and listen to a wide variety from country to coffeehouse to rap and electronic. I am terrible with favorites, but I prefer comedy and despise horror films , big fan of Elf and Big Daddy and movies similar. Currently working on the Inheritance series, I enjoy scifi books of mystical adventures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been very blessed in life with ample opportunities to help with inner city children doing mission work in several cities around the US, but my most amazing thing would have to be bringing back a religious culture to my fraternity while holding a leader position as Chaplain.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe the only way to truly better oneself is to never become complacent with the current intellectual level. I plan to never stop learning far beyond my educational level, I just get to choose what I want to study! I tutor calculus and physics for Auburn University and nerd-out hardcore over fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, being a chemical engineer and having those subjects as my main study over the past 4 years. I love sharing stories about anything and love even more to hear them! I like to share as much knowledge and experience as possible, I would even consider it my favorite past-time.
