About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I just arrived in New York after working from a laptop and drifting around Spain since June, lived and traveled around east Asia since summer 2015(Mostly Thailand, Japan, South Korea but also visited Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Taiwan), and now looking for a job in Brooklyn as a school teacher. Looking for friends, companions, and like minded life surfers in all places. I like traveling without traveling.

ABOUT ME

I'm a post grad student studying to be a cultural Anthropologist and English teacher.
Guitarist and terrible singer...
Writer (mostly non sentimental poetry)

I travel sometimes to escape and sometimes just to have fun but mostly to learn! Traveling is an institution and I will ALWAYS be a student.. I love learning new languages and learning about other cultures.

I speak English, Spanish, some Thai and am learning Japanese and Korean

PHILOSOPHY

You were thrown into being and had no control, but now that you are an agent of the self, take control and responsibility for your actions and choose whether you want the weight or not, no one cares!

What you feed your body and mind dictates the final formation of your being.

The four agreements which include:

1. Don't take things personally.
2. Be impeccable with your word.
3. Don't make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to be honest, a good listener, etc. I do my best to share what I have even if it's just positive energy or comic relief. I have a 2 bedroom apartment with some couch space for my guests. I like to show people around if I don't have space or if they don't need a host but could benefit from having a local as a guide, or even just to give some tips. I like to give advice on Transportation, where to go, free museums, best ways to find an affordable sublet if needed or even if you're thinking of moving here. I tend to advise surfers not to move into "artist shares" because you can find better deals on craigslist if you rent a room with a friend or a 1 bedroom apartment, etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I need to update this part. But Basically I surfed all over Europe and a few Asian countries and have attended many great meetups and made a load of friends for life.

Interests

What's for dinner, where am I sleeping tonight, and with whom am I sleeping?
