After completing my first degree and being in a corporate job for a year, I decided that I'd rather spend a few more years surviving on ramen and went back to uni to study a bit more.

Making an adventure of everyday life.
Cycled from Pretoria to Gaborone on dirt roads.
Went to Nobel awards and met Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
Travelling on a steam train.
Swimming in the Zambezi (Actually taking a bath)
Small charter aircraft over Lesotho.
Day on a dhow and atending random house party in Kenya.
Cycling around the Bodemsee and sleeping on hay in a barn in Switzerland.

Have compassion for everyone you meet, even if they don't want it. What appears bad manners, an ill temper or cynicism is always a sign of things no ears have heard, no eyes have seen. You do not know what wars are going on down there where the spirit meets the bone.
