About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live as if yesterday never happened.

ABOUT ME

About me... Hmmmm... How to describe ones self. Webster's says I am a person whose creative work shows sensitivity and imagination. I'll go with that.

PHILOSOPHY

If you have learned something new, it was not a wasted day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Maybe this is silly, but I love to meet people. I want to drink in the experiences and philosophy of others. To share with people, small victories and conquests. To be open, broad, and a little more complete with each new person who comes (if even for a brief moment) into my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS, but as soon as I have something to share, I will put it here.

Interests

Coffee... Oh, and conversation. I also enjoy live music, art, fashion, and peanut butter.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently on the hunt for a secondhand copy of "Jitterbug Perfume"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To date the most amazing thing I have ever done has been the "Out of Darkness" Walk. It a 20 mile walk over night to raise money and awareness about suicide.
I was almost done, I had 1.5 miles left to go. I was so tired and worn from head to toe. There was a bus that would take you to the end if you couldn't make it. I was tempted, but I had already gone so far... So the last mile was hell, I kept telling myself, "All you have to do is put one foot in-front of the other foot and you can get there."
And then the realization hit me, that was the most best advice I have ever given myself. It changed my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best way to describe what I could share would be that I have lived my life backwards. I did all the things you are suppose to do as you get older at a young age and everything you are suppose to do young, now. Its odd, I'll have to explain it to you sometime over coffee.
