ABOUT ME

I tend to end up in places where I don't necesserily intend to end up. Having a degree in HR management I work as an English teacher; having only a little experience in journalism and none at all in photography I work as a photo manager for the winter Olympics in Sochi. I'd love to see where life gets me next))

Other than that - I love theatre and arts, love reading and watching films, love learning languages and practicing them whenever I have an opportunity, love meeting new people and getting to know their stories, love trying something I'd never tried before..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done couchsurfing some years ago - hosted more than been a guest myself.. But for the last couple of years I haven't really had a chance to do that, so I'm coming back here, hoping to find the community as nice and helpful as it used to be)

Interests

Different:
Languages - know 2, learning 2, want to know about 6 more.
Painting, especially on unordinary surfaces like doors and laptops..
Reading, fiction mostly.
Travelling, even there's not that much of travelling I've done.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

if working with Norwegian Alpine Ski team counts, that's the one amazing thing I've done)sitting on the top of 3000 metre mountain with professional athletes and watching them race - that's truly cool)
Talking about which - this experience led me to where I am at the moment - working for the Organising Committee of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi)

Teach, Learn, Share

I've always wanted to learn how to play the guitar.. and how to take artistic photos. As for what I can teach you - it's difficult to say.. maybe some words and phrases in Russian/Spanish/Korean/Norwegian.. maybe we shall sing together and I will teach you a song you didn't know before.. or maybe a new way of making tea or baking a pie)
