ABOUT ME

Hello World!I am known as Fraiz! ( Strawberry in french)Hailing from the beyond beautiful area known as the East Kootenays in British Columbia, I was born and raised a flower child in Winlaw B.C that soon rebelled into a tech'savy computer nerd complete with a diploma in graphic design!Organizing, marketing & coordinating student events & campagins for Selkirk College was my main passion and job for several years before I took up being a First-Aid attendant in order to pursue another great passion of mine.Music Festivals!I've been working as a First-Aid Attendant & Production Assistant for the BC festival scene for two years now, my resume includes: LokiSyncKootenai Electronic & Folk Music FestDiversitEntheos Culture FestivalBasscoastShambhala Music Festival Beloveded ( US )& I've been part of the Burningman scene for two years now;2010: First Aid @ C-92011: Volunteer @ Fractal NationsI do not call myself a photographer but I've been taking photos and making videos since 1999, as well as doing stints in amateur modeling & marketing my friends products & services & events.Love love to tell and hear stories, I've been collecting life'alteringly tales of transformation, beauty and hilarity my entire life and love love to share and hear more!Namaste ~*~

All things chemical, we are purely what we put into our stomachs, our minds, and who we share ourselves with.All opinions are worth hearing, but true knowledge comes from the the combination of academia with the wisdom of experiencing it first hand. I am known as a worldbridger, bringing raw visceral facts of the medical world together with spiritual beliefs and appreciations.

Me & My LadyLove will be traveling to Australia Feb 10th -ish and hope to experience the hospitality & generosity of the CS community while there!We hope to acquire the wisdom of what it is to be an excellent guest and amazing host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting festival travelers regularly in my lifetime since my hometown is close to Shambhala Music Festival & have found a wealth of wisdom and beauty and being able to share my home and time with the incredibly beautiful people of the traveling scene.I recently longboarded & backpacked my way to San Francisco from Vancouver B.C & met so many amazing people along the way, be it friends of friends, friends made in the park or at the hostels, it was simply amazing to connect with so man diverse and interesting travelers and hosts!It was what inspired me to put together this account and continue to meet people this way.As a youth, I always preferred hitch'hiking to taking the long rural bus into town, as it gave me a real authentic opportunity to meet people I would otherwise never get to share a decent conversation with. I've carried this philosophy with me in my traveling and continue to grow wiser and richer in my life philosophy with each passing adventure.

Putting together an annual full moon gathering, basically a one night festival, for my local community.The incredible amount of organization, communication, hard work, stress, driving, and coordination required for the event was exhausting!But when that moment came.... when we looked out across the fully packed dance floor of happy people, hollering with joy, stomping their feet and dancing with freedom!Ooooh we melted & it was the most extradionare feeling of accomplishment!

I have been sharing an empathetic ear for years in my experience as a college counselor, first aid attendant, psyh'crisis counselor & best friend.Insight into youth culture, festival culture, BM & Electronic music culture is something I enjoy to do.I love love to teach my passions; I have experience teaching people to longboard & stilts & even dance :PPlease indulge me in a lesson anytime!
