ABOUT ME

Hi! My name's A.J.. I like things, especially traveling and learning languages and culture. I don't like tasting new foods, because sometimes it's gross and I don't want to offend anyone! I live in Germany now but I was raised in the States (North Carolina). I love music, and if there's a karaoke bar, I'm there! I always smile... life's too short not to. I'm the middle child, so I understand when it comes to the 'middle child syndrome'. You just have to meet me...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm poor (that's how it started) then I had a good experience when I went to Austria, and then I just decided it was the best/most fun way to travel. Right now I'm a user, because I am living in a dorm room (unless you want to share my bed, I can't host you, sorry!) but when I return home and finish up university I would love to host (if anyone wants to come to beautiful Greenville, North Carolina!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with this awesome guy named Tom in Austria, he was great, and now I love couchsurfing. (It's truly the best way to see a city, too)

languages: Right now I only speak German (somewhat fluently), English (also somewhat fluently) and french (not so well, anymore...)
Food: I'm really picky about food, but when it's good, it's good...
Music: I need to be able to sing and dance to it, or I'm bored! (If You Seek Amy)

Well, I actually watched a whole film straight through without going to the potty.
I've driven the entire East Coast of the US. (beautiful)
I've been to Europe three times, and in those times I've been to 8 countries. (Germany, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Rep, the Netherlands, and Spain)
I've jetskiied on the ocean, and caught sharks in the process.

Teach: Really bad English, and I love to teach children about anything. Children are great!

Share: Well last week I shared my cold, but outside of that, if I've got it and you need it (tangible, intangible) I will share it!
