ABOUT ME

I love traveling and hanging out with friends and my family. I'm not big on the party scene, I'd much rather hang out with people in small groups at a quiet coffee shop or bar. I love to discuss books, cultures, movies, and traveling experiences. I don't really enjoy talking politics or debating. I love to sing and travel and it's even better if I'm doing both at the same time. I've been married almost 8 years, have two daughters, and a couple of cats. I'm a heavy reader and love to watch movies, but not TV. I enjoy Martial arts, Kickboxing and Yoga. I also love to hike and rock climb although I'm not very good at rock climbing yet. I was in Peace Corps in Kazakhstan from 2009-2011 and have been back once since then to visit.

I love new cultures and have learned a lot about the Kazakh culture. I love hosting and have met many amazing people while I was traveling around Europe with my dad.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to play the Dombra (Kazakhstan's national instrument) and to sing a few songs in Kazakh. I also can cook several Kazakh dishes. I love to cook and would love to learn how to cook any of the National dishes in any country and I'm very interested in local songs and music
