ABOUT ME

Hola, bonjour, tag, hello :) My name is Chesca, and I'm a freelance writer and ex-editor at a Danish-owned company here in Manila, where I copyedited manuscripts for European and American clients. I love the written word. Language amazes me, and I fully intend to harness its potential power. Yep, I love my day job. :)

But of course, I also like my nightlife. I love going out for drinks after work, relaxing with my friends, talking about this and that, and just generally kicking back. On a per-project basis, I also organize and help produce local concerts, gigs, and festivals for various art and cultural organizations. When my nose isn't buried in a book (for work or for pleasure), I love listening to music (scouting out the new bands too), going dancing, watching local and foreign films, and checking out the scene. I'm very easygoing and friendly, and I love meeting new people who are the same.

We'd love to have guests over to show around the cultural and party places in the metro. No problem, though, if going to art spaces, bars, and clubs isn't your thing. We have a rooftop deck with a bar, so we can always just host our very own house party anytime! Yay!

We are a nice, friendly, and easygoing bunch who believe in cultural diversity, individual freedom, mutual respect, and open-mindedness. We live simply, but we definitely know how to have fun. So if you'd like to come hang out and chill, you know the drill!
